We’re saddened to notice the passing of Skip Lazell, who made seminal contributions to the understanding of anole range, biogeography and lots of different subjects. We are going to particularly miss his common commentary, all the time in a really supportive means, on many Anole Annal posts.
In response to Numi Mitchell on the Conservation Company, “Skip died on Friday, 30 June 2023. He had Parkinson’s and died quietly of pneumonia after many glad years of retirement and tender care from Wenhua Lu, his spouse. There’ll probably be a memorial service in some unspecified time in the future, however nothing is deliberate for the time being.”
