We first met Izzy Nesci when she was 15 and led a membership at NYC’s Trevor Day College devoted to supporting Wild Tomorrow’s work. By means of bake gross sales and different artistic student-led initiatives, Izzy and the membership raised donations that helped fund the introduction of particular person giraffe and zebra at Wild Tomorrow’s Ukuwela Reserve in South Africa. In her last yr of highschool, Izzy traveled to South Africa as a volunteer with Wild Tomorrow, ‘assembly’ the giraffe and zebra at Ukuwela, serving to out on the neighborhood kindergarten, eradicating fencing to open habitat, helping dehorn rhinos, and serving to paint our new ranger camp.
