2021 – What a 12 months

– a little bit evaluate of the final 12 months of … life … –

2021 … the place do I even begin … Effectively, it began with snow, sure we did have 1 day of snow right here and sure I did do a snow angel in a car parking zone. It was lockdown in spite of everything and for me this implies “What occurs throughout lockup – stays in lockup”. Thank god to be brutally sincere, as issues occurred … simply saying ….

So, fortunately I used to be nonetheless allowed to work and I used to be honoured to satisfy a number of the cutest doggies for his or her journey periods. And I’ve to say, the one good factor of lockups … metropolis periods are a dream. Much less folks and vehicles – which suggests much less enhancing 🙂 That is the one good factor I’ll ever point out, which lockup had.

The months went on, the times bought longer and Spring arrived, so did the top of a really very lengthy winter. Thank god for Grape Juice (individuals who know me will perceive). April got here and we escaped to Wales with The Beagles. We climbed (virtually, thanks acrophobia) Snowdon, met plenty of sheep and tried to talk welsh.

In Might we drove 7h as much as The North, higher to discover Scotland. We went on the Harry Potter practice, went canoeing at Loch Tay and explored the magical Highlands. I’ve to say, Scotland is actually beautiful and we won’t wait to return.

In June we found the fantastic thing about the North York Moor, we discovered probably the most superb ruins, went on mile lengthy walks and went on one other steam practice. The Beagles and us are steam practice lovers.

July – sure Freedom Day! This meant I may lastly fly to see my dad and mom and previous pals in Germany, after 11 lengthy month. And we did had a blast, exploring caves, hanging bridges and fairytale cities.

And in between all of the adventures, I had the primary canine exhibits since 2019 and I met a so many canine for his or her Pleased Canine Classes. A lot enjoyable and I simply cherished to be again, laying within the mud and getting moist kisses. September made us return to the Peak District for many strolling and exploring.

And in October, sure in October I had my first lengthy haul flight since 2019, to go to my fantastic buddy Karen in Canada. We went to see the Niagara Falls, drunk wine, laughed so much and had the very best time.

So to not unhealthy to date … till November got here and as an example it this manner, plenty of swearing on the TV, due to new restrictions (booh) and plenty of cancelled plans once more.

December, we had enjoyable on the (english) Xmas Market with Gluehwein and Bratwurst , found the magic of Kew Gardens at Night time, went to Panto twice, went to the Westend and supported native hospitality so much. So sure, this was 2021. Filled with thrilling issues, plenty of wine, plenty of swearing, plenty of strolling, plenty of head shaking.

However we found new lovely components of the UK and I really feel, we made the very best out of a foul deal.

Thanks a lot to my fantastic shoppers for braising every little thing what was thrown at us this 12 months, from the climate to restrictions. We nonetheless had a blast and I can truthfully say, you all and your doggies actually made my 12 months and saved me going. So a BIG BIG Thanks to you all.

So right here is to 2022. Might the subsequent 12 months be filled with adventures, filled with laughter and happiness.

Pleased New 12 months to you all. An enormous Awooof from Bridget and The Beagles
